Start with the material, not the machine. What you are trying to do with your waste stream determines the category — and everything after that is sizing, siting and service.
If you want to recover material
- Cardboard, plastic film, paper, aluminum or other separated recyclables.
- The goal is a dense, clean, stackable bale a buyer will accept.
- The material leaves as a commodity rather than as waste you pay to remove.
If you want to reduce volume
- Mixed general waste, wet waste, or bulky material that cannot be recovered.
- The goal is fewer, fuller hauls instead of frequent, half-empty ones.
- Nothing changes for staff — waste still goes in the same place.
