Nearly 80 years of experience. Built for the next 80.
A family-owned company, in the same business, for more than eight decades. In an industry of short-lived vendors, that is the whole point.
Balers and compactors. That is the business.
Nichols Sales, Inc. distributes, installs, repairs and maintains commercial and industrial balers and compactors, and supplies the parts that keep them running. We do not do it alongside a dozen unrelated product lines. It is what the company has done for more than 80 years.
The company operates from Pomona, California, and sells, installs and services equipment for customers across the country. It has been listed in The Blue Book of building and construction suppliers since 1992.
Being family-owned changes the time horizon. A baler installed this year may still be running in twenty. We would rather be the company you call in year fifteen than the one that closed the biggest order in year one.

Four values, and what they actually mean.
These are drawn from the company's own brand standards. They are worth stating plainly because in this industry they are testable.
Strength & durability
Built to last under pressure. This equipment applies enormous force for decades. Specifying for the long run beats specifying for the invoice.
Precision engineering
Engineered for accuracy. The right machine, correctly sized and correctly installed, is worth more than the best machine installed badly.
Trust & long-term partnerships
Relationships built on reliability. Most of our work comes from operations we have supported for years.
Performance efficiency
Powering productive performance. Equipment that runs is equipment that pays. Everything else is theory.
We would rather talk you out of the wrong machine.
The fastest way to lose a customer for twenty years is to sell them equipment that does not fit their operation. Oversized machines waste capital. Undersized machines get overloaded, damaged and resented.
So the first conversation is about your material, your space, your staffing and your hauling agreement. Sometimes the honest answer is that new equipment is not the highest-return change available to you. We would rather say that than not.
